Junior Chrishuna Williams and senior Sandi Morris recorded the best NCAA marks of the season in the 800 meter and pole vault, respectively. Williams recorded a time of 2:07.76, setting a new personal-record, en route to earning the top spot in the event. Morris picked up the pole vault title with her mark of 14-5.25. Arkansas’ seventh event title came in the long jump, when Tamara Myers earned the title with a mark of 20-1.75.

Distance runner Dominique Scott made the most of her season debut with a blistering 2:42.60 (PR) to finish second in the 1000 meters (an event not contested at the NCAA Championships), which is the No. 8 time in collegiate history, per Track & Field News. The senior, who was sixth overall at the 2014 NCAA Cross Country Championships, finished her race Friday as the runner-up behind former teammate Stephanie Brown of Nike.

The Razorbacks return next Friday, January 16 for the Texas Duals. The highly-anticipated competition between to the two schools is slated for 6 p.m. at Randal Tyson Track Center.
