#ProHogs: Week 9
Former Razorback wide receiver Javontee Herndon is on an NFL active roster for the first time in his career. The Jacksonville, Fla. native was signed by the San Diego Chargers this week after spending most of the past two seasons on their practice squad. He caught 62 passes in his Razorback career, including a career-high 31 as a senior in 2013. He also totaled 910 receiving yards and seven touchdown catches at Arkansas. He is expected to make his NFL debut on national television as the Chargers take on the Chicago Bears in this week’s edition of Monday Night Football.
Running back Darren McFadden is also playing in prime time this week as the Dallas Cowboys will host the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football. Seven-time Pro Bowl tackle Jason Peters is expected to miss the game due to injury.
Buffalo Bills tight end Chris Gragg has quietly put together a pair of solid weeks in Buffalo’s last two contests, totaling seven receptions for 89 yards. The Bills have a key divisional tilt today with the Miami Dolphins at noon.
