There’s plenty to keep you busy in and around campus this weekend surrounding the Razorback Football season opener vs. Rice. Here’s a rundown of the events leading up to kickoff.

Friday, Sep. 3
7:00 p.m. – Maple Street closes down to traffic until 9 p.m.
7:45 p.m. – Stadium Red Glow Begins
8:00 p.m. – Pep Rally at the Greek Theatre (free event and all are welcome!)
Saturday, Sep. 4
6:00 a.m. – Parking & Tailgating Lots Open
9:00 a.m. – HogTown at Maple Street Opens
10:00 a.m. – Live band performance begins by Members Only
10:30 .m. – Marching Band parades from Walker Pavilion
9:00 a.m. – Hog Heaven in North End Zone and Bud Walton Arena open
10:45 a.m. – Team arrives for the Hog Walk (top of Lot 44 on Maple Street)
11:00 a.m. – Pep Rally in HogTown after the Hog Walk
11:10 a.m. – Drumline performance outside Gate 14
11:20 a.m. – Pep Rally at the Alumni House
11:30 a.m. – Public Stadium Gates Open
1:00 p.m. – Kickoff vs. Rice
Campus Face Covering Policy
The campus policy established by the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees is in effect for Razorback Football games. Consistent with other campus venues, masks are required within indoor settings in which social distancing cannot be accommodated, including premium seating areas, clubs, as well as other indoor areas accessible to the public (restrooms Hog Heaven store, Hall of Honor).
Masks are also required on all public shuttle busses to and from the stadium. Although, not required in outdoor spaces, masks are strongly encouraged for all areas throughout Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium when social distancing cannot be accommodated.
COVID Vaccinations Available
A pop-up vaccination clinic, hosted by the Northwest Arkansas Council, will be set up on the lower north end zone concourse (next to the first-aid station) of Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on game day this fall. Please note:
- If you have previously had a COVID-19 vaccine, please bring your CDC vaccination card.
- The vaccinations are free, insurance is not required and those attending the clinics will NOT need to provide an identification or social security number to get vaccinated.
- Minors ages 12 and above attending the clinic will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian in order to get a vaccine.
- You must have a ticket to the game to enter the stadium.
HogTown on Maple Street
This free event will begin four hours prior to Saturday’s game versus Rice and conclude 30 minutes prior to kick-off to allow fans time to enter the stadium to enjoy the ‘Best in Sight and Sound’ Marching Band’s pregame performance. For a list of food vendors available in HogTown, click here.
Members Only, a high-energy premier 80’s tribute band, will perform live starting at 9:00 a.m.

Clear Bag Policy
Guests may bring otherwise approved items into Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium using bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” or one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar). Individuals may also carry a small clutch purses, no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”, with or without a handle or strap. All clear bags and clutch purses will be screened prior to entry into the venue. All bags and purses not meeting the above requirements will not be permitted. Although permitted, childcare items, including diapers, must also be carried in an approved clear bag. Individuals carrying required medical supplies or devices into the venue are not subject to the clear bag policy. However, a through screening of the bag and the medical items will be conducted prior to entry. The person requiring these supplies or devices must accompany the bag at all times. Medical exception bags will be tagged once cleared through security.
