FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas men’s basketball head coach Mike Anderson announced on the first day of the early signing period that 6-8 forward Adrio Bailey has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Razorbacks for the 2016-17 season.

Bailey is ranked as the No. 11 player in the state of Louisiana and the No. 50 small forward in the 2016 class by Rivals.com. He is rated as a three-star player by 247Sports.com, Rivals.com, Scout.com and Future150.com.

He also played for the Urban DFW team last spring and summer. Bailey committed to Arkansas on Oct. 18 during his official visit.

Coach Anderson on Bailey
“Adrio is an explosive player with tremendous athletic ability and has that toughness we are looking for,” said Anderson. “His length, ability to score, defend, run the floor and attack the basket make him an exciting play maker that fits what we do in the #Fastest40 Minutes of basketball. Adrio’s character, incredible instincts for the game and passion for winning make him perfect for our program. We couldn’t be happier to have this exceptional talent join the Razorback family.”
